having flu and cough
started at Friday :(
Was not that serious so I went to help out for blood donation drive on saturday
then it worsen that night
so by Sunday I was totally dead
and slept the whole day :P
Monday did not go to school instead I went to the doctor
took MC for 2 days :)

1) Passing down
was okay. felt sad and excited and weird all at the same time!
sad at the sec4s are leaving ;( they left very good memories!
Excited about working with the sec3s :)
Weird because we are taking over, and it feels weird. It just feels weird.

2) FOS skit
was a success :) Love the actresses and actors :) Love the reaction and the ideas for the commercial break.

it's just a hamster, yes.

but the joy it has brought to me and the family was equally good as any of my friends could ever give me.

it's less than 1 year old..death cause unknown..

upon hearing its death, i got a shock.

I didn't know how to react.

I just stoned as mum kept comforting me on the phone..

she didn't tell me as soon as she knew.

she didn't want to affect me.

I was glad she did so.

he's so young. so adorable.

the time spent with it is not enough..

这个词可能近来出现过好几次

但是你有没有真正做到？

今天看了晚报

发现中国的某个地方（省）有个美食节

宰割的不是整只猪，不是整头牛，而是整条鲨鱼！！

难道他们没有环保意识？意识到鲨鱼已濒临绝种？！

这就是华人。

为了美食什么都做得出。

看一看满汉全席。

动物是活生生这样割开脑袋来吃的

多么残忍！

当华人看到某样事物，第一句话（问题）就是：

“能不能吃的？”

可是当中国不被看好（开始骑脚车的好习惯，减少汽车的排毒指数）的时候，他们却成功了。

成功设立个脚车站，出租脚车，鼓励人们环保。

中国人也做到了，他们团结的精神值得世界学习。

日本人更值得学习。

而不说你不知道，荷兰人也有他们环保的方式噢！

从小独立自主的他们受到的教育就是要好好爱护地球，等。

看了八频道播出的《放心出去看》，学习到了不少！

他们的政府效率高，国人的合作及态度也是关键之一。所谓“一个巴掌拍不响”。

访问当地人，麻烦吗？

回答竟然是：“噢，不会，一点也不会。这是应该做的。”

在看回自己的国家，有些人连垃圾分类都不会，听也没听过的都有。

是政府的教育失败？还是人们“肤浅”？

可能我们没有那个环境去给我们适应，但是那不是借口。

单单在我的家就有两种极端的例子。

妈妈：是个环保大使。她称第一没人敢称第二。自己自备塑胶袋上巴刹，自己自动环保废纸。还用我说吗？

爸爸：惰性是人失败的原因。有一次把喝的饮料塑胶杯丢进"Drinking Cans"的分类里。气得我不和他说话。还很会反驳。

就是有像他一样想法的人才会有当今社会的失败。

其实都是人为。

所以现在报应来了，我们得为自己的行为举止负责。

为了自己，也为了下一代。

不要认为自己的贡献是渺小，卑微的。

所谓“积少成多”，每一份力量都是非常重要的。

好久没有写什么了，今晚应该专注批改完所有作业，但打了几通电话给家长，结果弄得自己的情绪久久不能平静下来。

家长没有为难我。原本简单的反映学生的学习态度及成绩，后来却感受到无尽的伤、痛和无奈。面对着一届届的学生，看着本地学生语言水平的发展趋势，十足感受到自己有多渺小，有多无助，甚至无能。心里没有答案，只有泪两横。一向自认不是什么顶级教师，也不是什么伟大圣人，只要学生能够对学习华文保持热忱，心里也就感到安慰。可是在面对一重重的压力、一次次的失败，又听到家长无奈的答复，想到自己再努力，恐怕也不能扭转局势，心里无尽的悲伤只能通过泪水涌出。

也许当初心中的熊熊烈火已经缩小成为微弱的烛光，也许一向瘦弱的身躯一直企图背着一座山，但事实始终摆在眼前。挫折何其伤……

哭也好，笑也罢。明天依旧要面对生命，面对着等待发芽的幼苗。

这是他们的未来。应该让不相干的人为他们感到无奈，无助，和担心吗？

学习是一种态度，而不是为了好学历，好名利而学习。

妈妈常常和我说一句话：

“你学华文是为了什么？不是为了什么，而是因为你是华人。”

对啊。可是现在很多家长怎么和孩子说学华文的重要性？

“因为中国is coming into power. it's not 美国 anymore。”

第一，这种观念是错的，是可悲的。

第二，如果你用这种华文想要说服孩子去读华文，你凭什么？！

如果家长连好榜样也没有，那他们凭什么和孩子那么说话？

希望孩子反击：“那你为什么没有好好学华文？” ？

可能，可能我的华文程度还算不错，无法了解其他人的思想，了解为什么其他人对华文为什么没有兴趣。

可能，可能因为我父母是华校生，受的华文教育很好，所以我无法了解家长的无奈。

可是！为什么要怪罪上一代？难道那些洋人的父母就有很好的南洋教育？？

如果没有，为什么他们的华文比华人好？

这不应该发生。不应该因为自己的惰性及“没兴趣”或“很难”而让老师感到失措。

不应该因为自己而让老师失去了教华文的热忱。

无论英文也好，华文也罢，任何语言，任何科目，任何事情，都应该为自己的行为负责。

学校，老师，家长，成绩都不是一切。

一切的一切，是自己。

拿任何借口，都已不重要。

何必呢？

到头来，还不是白忙一场。

有时间和精力去怪罪别人，倒不如用那些宝贵时间思考对错，精益求精。
